UPSTREAM CANYONEERING from MATUTINAO RIVER TO KAWASAN FALLS

 You can enjoy the Canyoneering adventure in the municipality of Badian & Alegria. During our visit way back in 2016 our starting point was a 15 ft. cliff jump at the mystical Matutinao River. This river was called mystical because of it's sky blue colored water streams and enchanting stone formations and canyons.

It took our group 4 hours before we reached Kawasan Falls because some of us were slow-walkers and also we want to fully enjoy the experience. I was so careless because I didn't follow the jumping instructions and landed butt first thus the back of my thighs became swollen the entire 4 hours.

It's tiring but it's definitely worth it!

You have to slide down because there is no other way. I'm scared at first but in the end I ended up wanting to climb back and slid down again. What a tsundere!

We have 2 tourist guides, one is for guiding us at deep waters like this and the other one was holding our things that is placed inside a waterproof bag and also he is the one who took this shot.

After the fun 4 hours we reached Kawasan Falls where we enjoyed our lunch at 3 in the afternoon. My legs were tired and swollen I'm sleepy but it's worthy. I mean it's an outdoor activity what do I expect? 

If you are thinking of visiting and enjoying Canyoneering I recommend it. The tourist guides were very approachable and efficient in providing for our needs the entire session. and also if your are feint-hearted then this is a big no for you.  All in all it's definitely worth spending for.
