CANLAON CENTURY TREE

 The Canlaon Century Tree, a landmark of Canlaon City and located in Brgy. Lumapao, Canlaon, is a storybook come to life.  Even after three visits, the location never ceases to astound me. Being from Canlaon, my father grew up observing the magnificent tree. Since I enjoy fantasy literature, I frequently envision myself to be inside a fairytale. All I need now is a charming prince to prevent me from becoming a spinster! 

With all humor aside, I really want to go back to this location because I didn't take nearly enough shots! 

Twelve people can hug the tree at once, according to a measurement my family made. It's pretty enormous! The setting is definitely screaming fantasy. The locals claimed that countless fireflies lighted up the tree at night, giving it a more enchanted appearance. Unfortunately, my family is very superstitious, and if we stay there until dusk, the magical creatures might curse me, which is something I truly want to witness.

You should be prepared for some difficult roads if you plan to travel there. Since we have our own vehicles, traveling is simple for us. We are also fortunate to have some robust tires because the roads have not yet been adequately paved. Hold on to your seats because it's going to be a very bumpy journey! 

Overall, though, I heartily suggest this gem! If you don't visit this location, your trip through Canlaon will not be complete. Your phones and cameras will be bursting with photos of something so spectacular!
